Learn at your own pace

  • In a math class, a student has no alternative other than to learn at the Instructor's teaching pace. This is one of the most dominant inhibitors to learning in a group environment.
  • The Professor in a Syllabus (Tpias) removes the above restriction, by permitting students to learn at their own pace.
  • In a classroom environment, an Instructor is often asked to repeat a topic, or to pause the lecture while students acclimate to the speed of delivery.
  • Tpias enables the student to quickly restart a lecture, a portion of a topic (right down to the sentence level) or to advance the lecture. Students therefore control the speed of instruction and learn at their own pace.
  • Tpias focuses strictly on instruction and is not just another mega dose of problems. Interactive problems are presented after each topic to enhance learning the concepts.
  • Tpias supplements problem/homework oriented software. A student who has a better understanding of mathematical concepts, will have a better understanding of how to solve homework problems.
